    City Guide
    Hong Kong

    Hong Kong

Hong Kong is often known as the Pearl of the Orient. One cannot fail to be dazzled by the neon lights on the street that light up the whole city. Take a ride to the top of Victoria Peak to enjoy the panoramic view of the city, or take in the city’s spectacular skyline from the Star Ferry from Kowloon to Hong Kong Island . It is a financial powerhouse and land of luxury goods. If people are not working all hours, they are shopping or eating out at all hours. The food in Hong Kong is fantastic and you will be able to enjoy cuisines from all around the world as well as the wonderful local regional dishes, be it fine dining in a smart restaurant, or one of the unique street markets. It is not hard to find a spot to wind down with a cocktail in the evening with a spectacular view in front of you. Public Transport is first class and is efficient and safe.

As well as Hong Kong Island and Kowloon , there are also two hundred and sixty other islands to visit, with their beaches and temples, or take a short trip to southern China . Many locals owned properties across the border in China and commute to work in Hong Kong or travelling daily to work across the border from Hong Kong in one of the new special administrative zones.
